The 1/2" UHMW skids are indestructible on a sxs. I have 3/8" on my cat and had 1/2" on my 5500 lbs rock crawler and it held up great, slides over rocks real smooth.

We do bend up the front area now but not on the sides. We also have the rock sliders for the Wildcat. We need to get new pics up on the website and in the forum to show what they look like now.

    Thank you,
    Beth

Please post up the new pictures. This will likely be the next expense for the WC. Need this to match your A-Arm guards.

How has the 3/8" held up on the cat? Is 1/2" overkill for the Cat?

Ok, but I will have to replace them soon, they are getting beat up. I'd get 1/2" and never worry about it, also strengthens the under side a lot more.

Here is how we have done the Wildcat skids now with the front bent up. Pic isn't all cropped and pretty but it will show you what it looks like. This pic is our wildcat with the skid and sliders installed.

I just ordered the skid plate. Looks like I will need the Rocker panels too since the sides get scratched up too.

I would need the weight of the 3/8 center and the 1/2 rear section with pricing.
    Thanks,
