    Code C1305

Took the cat out to the dunes for the first time and ten minutes into a four day trip I lose power steering with the code C1305. Something about a rotor sensor for power steering. Any one know what needs to be done to correct this? By the way, first trip with Muzzy's stage 1 kit, this thing runs much stronger and sounds killer.

    1. Note each of the following codes will have a one letter prefix of C or P. A "C" prefix denotes a chassis malfunction and a "P" prefix denotes a power train malfunction, and a "U" denotes a loss of LCD gauge communication

mine flashed a c1306. Not on the list either. I think my selenoid for my winch shorted or something and was engaged while driving, then the bike flashed codes c1306 and p0562 which is system voltage low. The bike flashed the codes a couple times then died. I then noticed my fairlead on my winch cradle was bent right in so I unplugged the quick connect to the winch and the cat was alive again with no codes flashing. My winch was pretty hot so hopefully its not damaged. I still dont know what c1306 is. Possibly something with the power steering aswell.

Took the cat into dealer to have the eps looked at. They called today and said the eps module was bad. It is still under warranty and they said the msrp for this module is $1999.00. I will be looking into the extended warranty before the factory one expires. I only has about 3.5 hours on it when it went out.

I have the Muzzy wcd but haven't installed it yet. It didn't come in until after my Pismo trip. Thought I would have dealership do a once over before warranty was up and fix the eps system before I installed the wcd.
