    FoM,
How does this thing accelerate? Any idea what your 0-30MPH was? What about 30-60? What was your top speed you were able to get to? Have you ever driven a RZR S or XP? If you have how does it compair? Can't wot to see the videos.

Sounds like some good input on ideas for improvements. I hope they don't make too many last minute changes as that's like going all or nothing in gambling.

Great Fast IMO /// Airdam Might Have Done A Thing Or Two Not Sure On The 0 To 30 But When The Vid Gets On You Will See There Really Wasn't A Long Straitaway
But The Short Ones You Could Get To 45 Real Fast I Did 40 Over The Woopdes In The Back Coming Out Of Turn 1
I Have Drove A RZR You Will Have To Look At My Pics Here On Which One It Was
Unlike The RZR The Wild cat Does Not Even Come Close To Feeling Tippy This Thing Just Flys Around Corners
But Like All Rule At Demo Ride #1 Keep The Wheels On The Dirt

Just got back from Elk River. We got there at about 11:00 am. "Full of Mud" must have crashed the gates!!! The attendance was light early but picked up.
AC had 6 Wildcats to drive, they and/or the track crew allowed 2 on the course at a time. AC had a "dealer only" test yesterday and they kinda f'ed it up for everybody else.
Apparently some dealer rolled one pretty hard and another one left one on it's top. So today they had course workers keeping speeds down.
My first impression was good. I have to say however I have never driven a factory type SXS.I built my own. Good power, handled pretty well. The track which is a small off-road course was well maintained...even had watering/grader (bobcat) reconditioning the track about every hour. The wildcat is almost 2 different vehicles . In rear wheel drive the car is a little squirly...the track was wet for a short time, which didn't help. The front end seems to push a little. In 4 wheel drive the car handles completely different, there's no push in the front. it cornered quicker and just seemed to have the front more planted on the ground. Even when the track had just been watered and was greasy it handled great. Sliding around in 2 was fun...in 4 wheel it was too easy to go fast!!! To fast for that place!

    OK... now,

Dear Mr. Arctic Cat who the F&$k set up the shocks in the front. I can appreciate the fact that you are going with Walker Evans shocks....but they have to be set-up right to work and last!!! When the car is sitting at ride height the upper spring is completely bound up. The shock had about 8" of thread above the preload collar, you need to have the right springs to get the benefits of these shocks. And btw the slider, was upside down on all 6 test vehicles and all of them were split up the middle. When we started they only had fracture cracks by the time we left they were split halfway up. You must correct that asap. Having said that I was amazed at how well it handled and soaked up the whoops....can't wait to drive it when the shocks are set-up correctly.

Great info WIldOffroad! That is the kind of feed back comsumers need to make a decision of which preformace SxS to buy, neutral feed back is the best. Waiting to see replies from people who have riden in a XP and how it compares.

I really love this rig....but AC really screwed up this event. Wrong venue, no tech, no advertising...too bad because this SXS has all kinds of potential.
