How to never break an axle

I decided the best way to prevent a broken axle is to carry a spare. don't you usually break what you don't have with you?

Very nice! And sooo true.... you only break what you don't carry as a spare.

I call it "working with Murphy." If you really don't want it to rain, pack every piece of rain gear you have!

Nice packaging, the trouble with spare parts is always the room they take up and the damage they get from bouncing around.

I was working on something similar in lieu of my recent event of loosing an axle nut. I like the plywood to stabilize in the storage tube. Should work very well!
