    I agree anytime you change Tire size you affect the gearing,just check the speedometer on your truck when you up the tire size..

    The speedo will be off with larger tires that weigh more than OEM...there was a thread that discussed this last year from 27's on up to 30's and the ratio for speed. Instead of hitting 68 my speedo was up to 62 for a 6mph difference using 28x10x12s' Blackwater Evolutions -

    Heres another way to look at it. The speedo is reading just fine but your rig is going too fast. Its all relative.

    screw in more weight into the fly weight. the flyweights have a threaded hole into the end and you add the weights. probably a 10 min job including the cover compared to a...1.5 or so.
