Got the new Sirius Pro 30" light bar installed and all the wiring cleaned up. It's dang bright. Finally had a day off and sunshine all come together for a long ride. Here she is currently.

Since I bought my Trail, I've been doing everything I can think of, to cut down on the heat in the cab. I've put heat mat on the engine side of the firewall. I've also put heat mat under the floor and thick foam in the shifter housing. It has all helped to some extent, but what I've noticed, was the majority of the heat comes up from under the seats. I've seen different ideas on the forum, but I finally came up with what I hope will be the answer. A friend of mine who owns a body shop had an old welding blanket, so I got the idea of using that to cover the opening under both seats. I took some rough measurements and cut out a piece that I then doubled up so I could make it twice as thick to stop the heat. I laid it in and trimmed it to conform to all the odd angles. What I have right now, are what I consider test pieces. If this works like I hope, I am going to buy a new welding blanket in black and use these as a templates. I am also going to sew Velcro around the edges to make it easier to take out and clean. The pictures I have here, are what I've roughed out for my testing this year. Any one that owns a Trail or Sport for that matter, knows about the heat issues I'm referring to, so keeping my fingers crossed this works.

Got a short ride in today, testing new clutch and just a ride, been awhile. Perfect weather and a mix of dry and mudholes. Everything is finally working great. Tires down to 7psi and it feels right. Also since I am in Virginia next week, booked some parts with Austin at MLS, shipping to our office door there-great helpful guy and I am saving a huge chunk of change. Can you believe $200 savings just for a belt and spare side intake assy!? You guys got it made south of the border..
