Well if parts weren't hard enough to get for my wildcat now they will get harder in the future. As for the General looking machine if it has a good suspension Id like to try one. I like the general but the suspension is crap. I said not too long ago the xx wouldn't be here in the fall.

Actually, if they put about 140 HP and 20 inches of suspension in this thing, I would totally rock it. Bed dumps for scavenging firewood at Glamis, extended cab for big azz beer cooler and optimal wheelbase, and an aftermarket trophy truck body. It would be pretty sick.

    That one looks pretty good.

The General is a very nice ride. We had two of them in Jawbone this past weekend. They are an excellent trail rig and they will do over 70mph.

Weber motors use to be in Polaris sleds from 06 to 2014. I had one in an 06 fst. Motor was absolute garbage. worse sled I ever owned. so many problems. good luck with it in a s x s. bet new xx will have a revamped weber with a turbo. Glad I own a general now. Now more Cat's in my house with wheels or tracks just four legs

Ya know, it seems like only a few old birds (and some newbies) are still hangin round this forum cuz we really like one-anothers company and that the format and lay-out is super ... lotta guys jumped and are on CanAm X3 forum, or went to other forums ... (wearing me out mousing round to all these places ... Ha!)

Also, I find a whole bunch of activity on two different Wildcat facebook pages. Good info exchange but now lots of bitching going on there too.

I wonder how long this forum will survive I'm kind of visualizing kind of a 'Sanford and Son' site where us guys trade in old junky parts and leads to find parts to keep the H2 motor and Wet Clutch machines rolling.

Do ya suppose the Trail and Trail Sport guys will keep things bumping along well enough?

It just occurred to me how 'short sighted' I really am. Not only do I have an obsolete wet clutch wildcat ... I also have a VW based sand rail for which parts are becoming rare and very expensive.

If that's not bad enough, I own THREE 4-WD Suzuki SUVs (2 side kicks and 1 XL7). Since these are no longer marketed in this country parts are getting hard to find.

It could be my basic training drill instructor was right when he screamed in my ear "SHIT FOR BRAINS ... PULL YOUR HEAD OUTA YOUR ASS"

The saving grace may be that I'm so old and decrepit now that all of these vehicles may out last me ... Ha!

Totally agree. I love my 12 cat and have no intention of getting something else. She already far exceeds my ability (and courage). I'm handy and can fix most issues, so as long as parts remain available and a great support Forum remains, I just don't see the need to change.
