    New from Southern California

I joined the site awhile back and have been looking for a Wildcat since. I finally picked up a 2014 2 seat X. It was new from the dealer and came with a few aftermarket things like harnesses, alum roof, spare tire carrier and a few other things. I will be looking to add a few things down the road but the first thing I want to do is move my rugged radio system from my Rhino to the Cat. I've looked at the mounting bracket from Rugged and also the center console from PCI. Anyone have any thoughts, suggestions, experience with either one or know of any other mounting hardware to look at.

Welcome again TruckerB, thought I had seen your name before. Congrats on the X with some nice mods. The bracket worked well for me and Scoobydew. The radio will be mounted close enough to the cigarette lighter that you can take it out, run the wires though, back up through the console, and then I drilled 2 small holes in the plastic panel behind each seat, used some rubber grommets so the wire didn't chafe, and all worked well. What I would recommend you looking into is the Pace Offroad 12mm stud upgrade kit, and member Odyknuck's wheel plates. Sucks if you lose a wheel. Also get everything you need for a field belt change.

Thanks for all the responses. From what I've seen it looks like you lose one cup holder with the PCI unit but it looks a little cleaner. I think I'm going to start that way and if I find I really miss having two cup holders I can switch or get rid of my passenger!?!

So do most SXS companies when testing their SXSs!

If you look on Amazon, you can find a cup holder that sits in the remaining cup holder and gives you 2 side by side again...that's what I did with the Rugged Wildcat Mount. Thought I posted pics here before, but didn't find them in a quick search. I use this one or one very similar to it...works great. Amazon.com: Diono Trio Cup Holder, Black: Baby

bblitz simple but great solution. I think I am going to order the PCI center console for the radio and a cup holder off amazon. I will let you know how it turns out.
