Kool, thanx. Lots of scotch snobberones don't like to hear this. Next time one of them tries to tell you how bourbon drinkers are lowly and scotch drinkers are classy, ask them what they know about their classy drink. Like the fact that the scotch distilleries buy our used aging barrels to mellow and age their scotch. All scotch drinkers are not snobberones, but all snobberones tend to be scotch drinkers. Ooooooh, I just love opening up a can or worms. (or beer)

I'm a Porsche guy, and have owned a Porsche most of my adult life. As a result I go to get togethers and those snobby conversations always appear. They're sitting around talking about single malts and names I've never heard of, and I tell them about the aging barrels. They chuckle and look condescending at me. Then I tell them how much better Bourbon is and why. They usually tend to move away from me, which is what I wanted to begin with. I know they went home and researched it. At future get togethers they never come up to me. Hehehehehe, touchdown.

I forgot......What's the difference between a Porsche owner and a porcupine? One of them has the pricks on the inside!

I made that word up myself. Really proud of it. It has a tinge of Spanish accent to it. This IS California ya know. Compliance is mandatory. You will be assimilated!

I would love the crack to become a deep fissure.

Careful of what you wish for..

Do you know what I am talking about? There was no quake felt when this was spotted, that's probably cause like you say it was a deep fissure fracture caused by the quake they had a year back and the surface is now dropping to fill in the void bellow. Other cracks has opened up in NW Mexico & Montana.. Want me to connect the dots (er I mean cracks) for you?? You better get some flotation tires for the MoHo

Nope. Didn't know anything about those. But I'm not even close to that area. We've been thru a lot of earthquakes, Loma Prieta being the biggest. I was 10 stories up when that one hit. Hoo boy what a ride. But we face the most devastating un-natural disaster known to mankind. Nancy Pelosi. It's beyond devastating.

Well all my Bourbon brothers, the wife and I were at Sam's Club tonight, so I wandered over to the adult beverage section to see if they had any new Bourbons to try and I found they had a bottle of Woodford Reserve. So seeing that it was part of the Bourbon Trail, I thought I'd give it a try. I have to say it is very smooth and it has a slightly sweet finish, but like I said, I don't have a refined palate, so it's just my perception of it. I like it and anyone who hasn't tried it, I would recommend it. Even nicer, a blue collar guy like myself can afford it. lol

It was the first bottle I tried. I try and keep under 30 dollar bottles around. Buffalo Trace, WL Weller, and larceny. Are very good for the money in my opinion
