Looks like the new Polaris XP Pro has a lot of similarities to the XX...

...in size, weight, interior size, tire size, clutch cooling, overall girth.
    96" wheelbase and 1750 lbs.

Looks like they are catching up to the XX now in chassis...now Artic Cat needs to turbo the XX to match Polaris' power.

Me personally- I don't need the turbo and am happy with my 84 mph top speed which I will rarely if ever hit again.
And I like the $$ I have into my XX now nearly set up the way I want it.

Car looks good overall...Much better than the Honda IMO.

New XP Pro looks like a good step in the right direction for PoPo...

I have to laugh though... When the XX came out, I heard multiple people complaining about how heavy it is, XP Pro comes out and I haven't seen anyone bat an eye at the fact that it weighs almost just as much.

Hate to say it, but at first blush it looks like a pretty good machine. They will probably have a 4 seat out before the 4XX makes it.

There's so much more to a turbo than top speed. In fact the top speed would hardly change. What changes is how quick you get there.

There's a few huge advantages to a turbo.
The ability to correct a mistake with the blip of the throttle.
The heavy clutch weights that keep the RPM lower when you are not on the boost. Great for trail riding and rock crawling.
The ability to slow down for some stuff since you don't have to rely on momentum so much.
The best exhaust system you can put on a car. So much smoother and quieter.
The same horsepower and drivability no matter what altitude you are at.

The XX really needs a turbo

As far as the new RZR, it's the same RZR with a little more wheel base and a slightly stronger chassis.
    Same horrible suspension geometry
    Same shitty front diff
And an 'oh shit' button for when it tries to kill you

    The elevator guy!

I had a 2012....cracked engine case stock, then w/ MCX Turbo and STM Clutch broke 2 crankshafts, and blew up 2 rear diffs,

Then got a 2014 X Limited....leaked oil since new, bent crankshaft, and cracked the stator cover....

Got a RZR XPT..hauls ass, rides great, handles terrible, sucks in the whoops

    Now....Speed XX #32

They already have the 4 seater. There were pictures of it floating around with the spy pictures of the 2 seater. By the way this is the car Mega saw in Glamis 2 season ago.

My guess is all the XP models will be on this new platform in the next year. I would expect a 72" wide model by 2021, it not sooner.

Turbos on a SXS is much nicer for sure. I don't think I would go back to a non-turbo model.

There is a lot more than you think to this new RZR model. It is a completely new chassis, which not only has longer wheel base but wider. Also no longer a bolted together frame. New clutch set up and lots of good design features.

This video give a good overall review of the improvements and features.

I think it looks a lot nicer than the old one and I’ve watched several videos sounds like big improvements but why the hell cant they put full doors on The damn things. I think every side-by-sid should have full doors on it standard IMO.

Maybe I don't need to get there as "quick" as the turbo guys do...I am not racing.
But as one very famous racer once said..."you make up time in the slow stuff".
My car gets up to 70 pretty quick...about all I need. Any more power I would be just spinnin the tires more trying to modulate it in the loose dez/sandy/rocky stuff we ride on mostly.

If I wanted a turbo, I would have bought an X3 last year...and spent a fortune making it handle as well as the XX...and more stuff to worry about.

I do like this new XP Pro turbo...but I would be like 7k more into it than my XX. That buys a lot of beer and gas.

Definitely seems to be an improvement in all categories. These machines in the customers's hands for a year+ will say a lot.

It is one of those things that once you drive one in the areas you like to ride, you see the difference. You only spin the tires if you mash it in 2wd and also depends on which tires you run. In 4wd they hook and go.

I was in Baja last week and never felt the tires were spinning unless in 2wd and purposely trying to get the car sideways.
