Slider weights, A+++++?

    I have noticed on here that although the older wet clutched big Cats are fewer because of people upgrading to newer rides, there still appears to be some interest in the slider weights for the primary clutch. I have seen a few posts where people were unable to find them and unfortunately none of our valued supporting vendors carry them at this time. Sand-n-sea educated me on these and pointed me in the right direction, I thank him for that as this was one of the biggest bangs for the buck!!!
    The design of these weights allow the sheeve to open a bit more than the round roller weights to give a lower starting ratio and they also allow the sheeve to close more allowing more shift out equalling more top end.
    JBS performance in the U.S has these in all different weight, just let James know your hp and tire size and they can recomend what weight you need. I personally went with 24 gram weights as I am running 28" tires now and will eventually be getting some 30's

    I like them and run them until a belt is blown and the sliders are out of whack. I couldn't get them in properly and had to pull primary off to replace belt.

    Yup many of them did. Long story short, if my riding buddy didn't have an impact back at camp I'dve been hosed. So I bought an cordless impact to take with me.

    I guess there is a small chance they can flip but regardless, the clutch on these things have to come off anyway to change the darn belt , lol
    I want to get myself a milwaukee cordless impact, 11,000 ft lbs, arh arh arh, lol

    I carry the Milwaukee impact in my tool box. That sucker is insane!
    Not sure how you can flip the sliders ... unless the belt came off and let them go slack

    Like I said, it would be rare because I think the only way it could happen is if you were pretty much WOT when the belt breaks then there might be a split second of slack. Then again you would think the centrifical force would keep everything tight together. Oh well, best tell the wife I need a Milwaukee impact to be on the safe side, lmao!!
