    Out of options removing axel cup help

    Been fighting this axel cup for a few nights tried a slide hammer a racket behind it and screw drivers to pry it while a buddy pushing the ball in the cup in also have a lot of play at the cups

    The ball isn't supposed to be pushed in towards the machine. It has to be pushed in towards the wheel/hub side. Have your buddy push the cup towards the machine while pulling/prying on the cup.

    Maintaining even pressure around it with pry bars, push pull method to release the clip, a little jiggling, and as many f bombs as it takes, also rotate it between attempts and maybe some compressed air to clean out

    see my previous post... Mine came out by itself... Go figure. I don't ride it that hard, but it came out.... all by itself.

    I’m referring to the cup which goes into the diff but trans blew so in the process of swapping an blown 800 mile trans with a 4500 mikes trans I had off a machine that blew the motor

    I can't remember if it was the front or the back... ( I think the back) where "hole" went all the way through, for the axles - so once you had one out, you could put a rod in, and give a good whack on the end of the other axle. I had a VERY hard time with a couple of mine as well.
