    Buying after market exhaust Suggestions>

From New Brunswick Canada. Looking to purchase after market muffler and possibly exhaust manifold. any suggestions on retailers? My pipe is cracked and hole is melted in my panels (again, I replaced them with new before the recall). I need to reduce the heat asap. Thanks in advance.

I went with HMF Titan QS. Stainless, solidly built, and sounds wonderful (not much louder than stock)

If you have the money to spend you could go with the speedwerx header and exhaust combo, but that allot of money IMO. Plus you don't need a fuel controller with the Titan.

It is a lot of money but he said his exhaust header is cracked also, I think the factory header and the speedwerx header are comparable in price.

If your looking to replace header due to damage go as Sak kitty said.. if trying to reduce heat, cheapest is gutting the stock exhaust catalytic out of it. Search for threads on here for instructions. That will get your heat down, header isn't really the heat issue. Also checks your spark plugs make sure they are good and wires are seated proper. Some people had alot of heat trouble due to plug issue... If you really want an aftermarket pipe search ebay/amazon us and Cdn for a deal. Nothing is super cheap though..

Ya nothing is cheap as far as exhaust for these things, I got lucky and found a smoking deal on some leftover Bikeman stock from and got a slip on and clutch kit for $400 cdn , but anything else was double the price or more

You can have exhaust hung on your car for 800$ by a professional or put exhaust on your sxs YOURSELF for 1000$. You would think less pipe, smaller mufflers, and less product would be Cheeper. But the sxs is a lot funner. LOL

You can solve the burning through problem with the recall >> it is free for everyone with a trail.
If you still don't like how hot the header gets you can wrap it in header heat wrap pretty cheap online.
Mufflers can be pricey here in Canada >> I was quoted 700 for an Ezryde but found a D&D quiet one for less than half that price from a place called 2koolperformance (online but located in Ontario).

The cheapest exhaust as stated above is the one you already bought when you bought the machine, gut the cat out of the muffler and weld the cracks in the header. Or if you have the cash get a header and slip on , performance is close to the same with both options.
