    Storage Box Question.

I was given for free a under the hood storage box. Doesn't have any mounting hardware. What size is correct ? Everything i have here at home is too short , long, wide, or not wide enough.

I just mounted one of these today. There's 2 bolts that mount to the frame by the dash. Those are p/n 1423-281, M6 x 25mm screw. These go into threaded holes already in the frame. I'm not sure what the pitch is though. There's also an M6 x 40mm (p/n 8476-640) bolt and nut (p/n 8427-602) that drop through one of the cross bars for the front mounts. These look pricey and are really just a nut and bolt. I wouldn't buy these for that price.

M6 screws are typically all the same pitch, M6x1.0 is pretty much standard...I have some pretty expensive thread calculators and they only list M6x1.0 so that's what my money would be on. The door plastics definitely mounted using M6x1.0.

You can probably find em at a Home Depot or something, I'm lazy though and typically order from McMaster Carr. It'll be around $10 per box of 50/100, maybe a slightly more to get Stainless Steel.
