    I use this: https://lucasoil.com/products/motorc...oam-filter-oil

It's not quite as tacky as I would like, but it works well. Cheapest I've found it is from Summit Racing.

Oil your side intake prefilter as well. Will keep the main filter cleaner longer, just do the side filter more often or buys spares and swap, clean them when convenient..

Exactly what I did. I bought several of the side pre-filters. I oil them with PJ1 foam filter oil and keep them in a zip lock bag. That way if it's dusty, I just change it the following morning before we ride. The reason I use PJ1, is it's nice and tacky after you let them sit and I have a very clean main filter by the end of the riding season.

I use the PJ1 foam filter oil in the aerosol spray can. I used to do up some extra side intake filters like others but now I have gone to snorkels so I made up similar prefilters and swap them out every dusty ride> my main filter is clean as a whistle and that's with over 2000 miles on it.

I added the side intake Frogzskin cover and it works really well. Water or dust isn't an issue as the oiled foam behind it does it's job, but the smooth face vs oem "lip" and notches were always packing in weeds, seeds, cotton etc.. Now it stays virtually spotless.

Yeah, when I was out in the Black Hills with Mark (mtgott) I saw the Frogzskin on his machine. I'm making that one of my next purchases.
