We have a 1/4 mile long driveway and I was close to pulling the trigger on a plow for our X, but got concerned about how narrow the frame is just behind the front suspension. I need to move the snow to the side, like a highway plow. I don't have places to just push and pile. Getting the snow off to the side requires a really long blade and puts a big side-load on the frame. The brand I was favoring let me know that they were going to redesign their push frame, and that sealed the deal. No plow for me. I bought a snowblower attachment for our lawn tractor (riding mower). It works better than I could ever have guessed.

If you are going to push straight ahead, you should be fine.
