Wrapped header and collector with header wrap- now I am itchy.
Removed cat convertor- royal PITA because I didn't have a long enough drill bit and then my drill broke.
Lost a couple of the minor heat shields.
    Waiting on ECU from Speedwerx.
Had to remove the lower subframe to get the upper heat shield out so I drained the rear diff oil and waiting on new fluid to change...drilled an access hole in the skid plate and looking for a rubber pad to install for the rear diff.

How loud is the exhaust over stock?

It's not too bad. It's a bit louder than stock . I installed the quiet cores also. I use rugged radio headsets or helmet so it's not bad at all for me. Just a way better tone than the rattle the stock makes. Even with the cat converter taken out. This sound clip is without quiet cores and no spark arrestor.

It does sound good- thanks for the clip.
My brother got the full Speedwerx system with the loud straight through single can...obnoxiously loud.

Haven't started mine yet with the cat delete.

The cat delete is a great mod. I think it adds a little deeper tone to the stock muffler. And doesn't hold as much heat which is always a good thing. Having the ECU flash is a must. Very good mod IMO. I have the speed flash and I imagine there all pretty close. Was very impressed with the flash even with everything else stock.

No flash needed for the cat delete. That's one of the first mods I did to get rid of heat. I ran 1300 miles with a cat delete No issues or engine light. A reflash is just a great performance mod.

O2 sensor is upstream from the cat...should be no issues with the ECU.
You can run an aftermarket header and muffler with no electronic issues- as long as the collector has an O2 sensor boss in the same place.

My brother lost all his heat shields and heat wrapped the header with a straight through muffler, tossed the bed also. WAY less heat back there...I am keeping my main heat shield since I want to continue to run the bed.

My buddies that have done this on the Polaris and Can Am's say it makes it "snappier"...hope that is the case here also.
Still waiting for my ECU from Speedwerx...soon.

Changed the differential and transaxle fluid. There was quite a bit of gunk for les than a hundred miles.

-Just did the tranny and front end also- about a 1/4 inch of goo on the magnetic drain bolts. Glad I did them.
-Engine oil change also- used the larger Yamaha filter and Mobil 1 now 0/40.
    -ReInstalled Speedwerx upgraded ECU
-Installed Speedwerx 280 secondary clutch spring
-Installed rear rubber diff pad ($12 ebay instead of $75 from RG)
-Fabbed and installed regulator shield from leftover alum heat shield I pulled off. ($2 in hardware instead of $50)
-Fabbed 2 helmet hooks out of a pair of roll cage lightbar mounts I had leftover.
-Started process to attach heat shielding to inside of center console tunnel.

Tested car on pavement around the hood...feels smooth so far...couldn't open it up though.

Next up- steering rack bushing...complete heat shielding...install red flashing led's to the rear to go with the ambers.
