Ya, def give you more side impact protection than stock, but was easier to get in and out than a fully caged door that doesnt open.

Well, been a beyond crazy month. Few iterations later, got the roof /spoiler/RLB setup the way I wanted. Off to powder, flat black. Have a pile of parts waiting to get installed once I get it back to my shop.

    Few teasers...

Looks great! Why didn't you go white to match the car, instead of flat black?

The car isnt going to stay grey and white for that long. Most likely will paint it or wrap it in a year or so after I get a few races under my belt and hopefully pick up a couple sponsors. Was planning black roof, flow green/yellow cage and bead locks, red rims, and black and red themed body. Something loud that grabs attention for the sponsors/potential sponsors. Normally the loud colors look kinda cool in pics too. When I was racing motorcycles I went from all black to those colors and the photographers even commented on how much better the pics would come out.

Black and white vs loud ugly colors... LOL

Any thought on tires? Looking to pick up a set of 32's for dez racing. These are what I am trying to decide between...

    Brand/Model/Weight
    Tensor DS 34.5
    BF Goodrich KR2 39.5
    BF Goodrich KM3 41.95
    Maxxis Liberty 38
    Arisun After Shock 37
    EFX Motohammer 40.5
    ITPUltracross R-Spec 39.5

Any recommendations? Looking for light, but also want durable and longer lasting would be nice, I know you I cant have my cake and eat it too...

The top desert race teams seem to be on either Tensor DS, BFG or ITP Ultracross. I would stick with those. The BFG 32" utv tire actually measures bigger than 32" when set at the race PSI of 20 or more.

ITP Ultracross has been the best handling tire I've had on a few different SXS's. I have had some sidewall issues though. I have 32" Motohammers now and they are tough as hell and handle really good also. I would like to try 32" Ultracross with my current setup just to see if the handling is the same or better but I'm so happy with the Motohammer right now that I probably won't bother

    The elevator guy!

I had a 2012....cracked engine case stock, then w/ MCX Turbo and STM Clutch broke 2 crankshafts, and blew up 2 rear diffs,

Then got a 2014 X Limited....leaked oil since new, bent crankshaft, and cracked the stator cover....

Got a RZR XPT..hauls ass, rides great, handles terrible, sucks in the whoops

    Now....Speed XX #32

Thanks for the info, sounds like I will be giving the Ultracross a try. Found them for $160/piece, so about $90 less per corner than my cost on the KR2's.

Thats the plan 32x10r15, and was gonna run the KMC XS236 Addict 2 LW wheel (buddy can get me these for $200/piece. Was between that and the Method 401-R, but those are $60/more per wheel.

Save yourself some $$$ and run the stock wheels. You can probably get 2 more cheap also for spares.
Don't really need beadlocks for what you will be doing with air pressures up. RG ran stockers in DAKAR.
Unless you are keeping the stock width and just want it a little wider....or you get a wheel sponsor.
