    Smoking and cylinder full or oil

    First ride this year and about 3 km In it started smoking bad. Then hydro locked on one cylinder. Full of oil. Anyone ever see this. Not looking good.

    A cylinder so full of oil it locked while running? I don't even think that is possible.

    A rod or crank failure and an oily cylinder would make more sense.

    Head gasket?? It is weird that it locked. If the exhaust valve was opening is should have been able to push liquid out as fast as it was coming in. Keep us informed on the prognosis.

    It was looked up after towing. It does not smoke when you fire it up then a minute later it starts smoking. No answers yet.

    Agree with the mbrandt1402, it can be a rod or crank failure and an oily cylinder would make more sense.well i am not an expert i am a towing truck driver at Manhattan towing service, according to my experience it make sense.

    sounds like a quart too much oil.....check the oil it will do that if overfilled

    Dry sump, check oil after warming up?

    yes warm it but dont screw it in to check
