Well ...yeah...I was against that too...I always lose these battles...LOL
And the ruts keep getting bigger.

Don't forget...there are designated golf cart courses....and I think that is the wave of the future...SxS races only.

Next up will be 250 hp UTV's with 35's...tearing up courses and equipment.

As soon as they figure out how to keep the rubber bands on they will. I think thats where Class 10 has the advantage, although the Mendeola's cost a bit more.

The 2020 Can Am X3 RS RR is 195hp so 250hp will not be a far reach in the next 3 years.

I bet Andy is already there (250 HP) at the crank. If not, when his new turbo gets installed he will be there.

There are already guys that are pushing over 300hp (check out some of the big $$$ stuff at the sand dunes). Dez racing is another story, trying to keep everything together through some of the harshest terrain on earth running those kind if HP numbers is a crazy task.

Figure a TT is around 5k lbs and 800hp, thats 6.25 lbs per HP.

Now think of a 2k lb UTV, pushing 300hp, thats 6.66 lbs per HP.

Shits gonna break and people will put themselves in harms way. Some keyboard warrior can get behind the wheel of a UTV that has near the same HP/weight ratio as a TT thinking he's gonna be the next Bryce Menzies its not gonna end well, god forbid he have a few cold ones before hand. After all, its only a golf kart.

People already drive them like they are in a Trophy Truck. More hp just means the end result happens quicker.

I would think he is in that neighborhood before the big turbo. He is running an E85 tune.

Cousin of one of my colleagues bought an X3 Max (big one) last year...took it to Pismo on July 4th...NEVER driven a UTV before.
What do you think happened? Rolled it...(kinda hard to do with a Max). He got scared after that, parked it and has not done anything to it since...still sitting in his garage- still wadded up a year later.

I see PLENTY of these morons out there.
    Don't want any more.
I get really skeered on my bike- we usually only ride early before the idiots wake up from their hangovers.

I don't care if you have 1500hp if you know what you are doing.
    If you don't...buy a stock Rhino...or even better...stay home.

Same idiots that blow by me at 80 wagging their overloaded toyhauler down the interstate.

Uh, ya, I live in the mountains, the stuff I see people towing with completely inappropriate tow vehicles never ceases to amaze me.

Well damn you just told a lot of SXS owners to go home. LOL!

Oh the fun of the wandering toyhauler. This year the speeding toyhauler that blew past everyone ended up in pieces on the side of the 10 freeway near Beaumont.
