On speedo only- dry lake bed.
12 lbs rear tires...16 front- stockers.
Speedwerx stage 1 ECU
Purple secondary clutch spring- Speedwerx
Typical dezert setup- just me in the car...little over a half tank
Might have done more- I backed off...didn't get to look at the tach either.
After putting in the speedwerx stage II exterminator kit I got 80 mph and it was sitting at 8700 rpms. Room to grow. Running 32” also.
18 XX Ltd Mystery Machine..
18 XX green black
14 120 zr
12 M8 153
Elevation was 2800 ft also. I only have the ECU, stock header, stock muffler with cat delete and stock intake.
...thats about 135kmh- not bad! ;- ()
wildcat 1000 limited 2013,5
H1 650 TRV 2009
I'd be curious to see how close the speedo is to GPS with the stock tires. It is probably pretty accurate. I got to 82 on GPS with 32" Motohammers and the speedo was at about 77
IUEC Local 8
The elevator guy!
I had a 2012....cracked engine case stock, then w/ MCX Turbo and STM Clutch broke 2 crankshafts, and blew up 2 rear diffs,
Then got a 2014 X Limited....leaked oil since new, bent crankshaft, and cracked the stator cover....
Got a RZR XPT..hauls ass, rides great, handles terrible, sucks in the whoops
Now....Speed XX #32
84mph is moving. Was that at El Mirage or one of the dry lake beds near Cal City?
What is the XX governed too stock?
I have to say...if anyone is on the fence about the ECU reflash...do it.
Car runs smoother...Quicker throttle...snappier...Way faster top end...
Now I also did the cat delete which helps with the "snappyness" of the throttle and the secondary spring.
Combined...I like it a lot...came back with the permagrin.
Now I thought it would start up easier...but it does not- almost harder to start now with a little hesitation at times. Just stay on the key until it lights up completely.
And much cooler- even running in 93 degree temps. Runs below 1/2 on the gauge. The fans come on sooner- like 180 start I think.
And I am sticking to 30's...no need for 32's for me...not racing this thing. Clutch feels good.
Probably go DOT 30 next time around for the street.
I have seen some of the desert race UTVs are hitting over 100mph, which will be no problem when then start running the 33" tires next race season.
The BFG 32” tire some of the teams run measures close to a 33” tire. I think 33” is a good tire size for the race UTVs. They are getting faster and are pretty close to a class10 car in size.
Trophy Trucks on 40” tires are what is tearing up the course.
