  1. Belt alignment

    Wildcat General Discussion
Hi everyone. I have a 2013 Wildcat 1000HO. I'm going through belts like crazy. About one every 50-100 miles. The previous owner never did any maintenance or cleaning on the machine. After cleaning roughly 100lbs of mud out of the machine, I started researching how to's. I have tried the...

  3. Razorback Technology is here!

    New Member Introductions
Hey everyone. I'm new to the forum. I built a belt temperature gauge that measure ACTUAL belt temperature, not just the clutch air temperature. I've got a TON of data on belts, temps, and how they correlate to belt life. If you've got any questions or you are blowing through belts all the...
  4. The Clutch my Wildcat X broken

    Wildcat X
I have a WildCat X since December 2013 and in recent days only 72.1 hours of use and marking the odometer 2637 km without reaching the 100 km / hr in past days shattered the pulley inside the main gear and I would like to know if anyone can guide me as this is likely to happen and they advise me...
  5. Clutch going out? Or belt shot? Help please!

    Issues and Resolutions
Hey guys, I have a 2012 wildcat 1000 and was curious if my clutch was going out or if my belt was crappy. When I put it in high and give it gas, it acts like it revs up more then it should (it still starts rolling forward but slowly) then it feels like it catches and then goes like it normally...
  6. Broke my first belt... and then some.

    Issues and Resolutions
I took my X out for a day-long adventure on Saturday with just over 1200 miles on the original belt. I have a UTV inc. belt cooler and haven't had any issues until now. I approached a particularly gnarly trail option (one I've done before) and got about half way through it and lost momentum...
  7. Clutch problem

    Issues and Resolutions
When I put it in gear it won't click in until I accelerate, and if I climb a hill it pops out of gear and grinds. Clutch I assume?
  8. Belt After Belt ..... And hard gas peddle

    Issues and Resolutions
Seems like every time I go out ridding for more then 30 min I rip a belt. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm on 29.5 terminators and just basic trail riding ... Very little mudding. Also my gas peddle is very hard. Any mechanics in the Houston area?

  10. Belt Issues - Need Help

    Wildcat 4
Thanks for taking time to read through this. We purchased a WC4 in April. We live in Central Florida. We do mostly gravel/sand trail riding. Not the suck you tire spinning sand but the cruise along with no effort at 20 to 30 mph sand. Also a little mud but again not mud up to the floor...
  11. Drilled Clutch Cover

    Wildcat 4
I pulled my cover today to check the belt after only one weekend out. Belt looks great. Decided to drill some holes in the cover while it was off. I took pretty easy on the cat. I alternated between 2 and 4 wheel drive and low and high range. 6.8 hours and only 61 miles.

  14. Clutch Rollers Fall Out of Position

    Issues and Resolutions
At 477 miles I had my first breakdown. It was in the sand dunes at Silver Lake MI. It was the fourth day that we were in the sand dunes and the kids came back on foot. I knew it was trouble but they were walking so I was okay with it. I picked them up on the flats where the belt let go...
