Installed my near new 2015 X differential from pace, works like a dream. My 2012 rear differential is for sale if anybody is interested.

BTW, Billy at Pace is awesome to work with......

Nothing, lol, I am just re-building my bottom end of my machine, and got a good deal on a new take off rear differential off a 2015x, so bought it, since I was replacing both rear axles it was a good time to replace that. So basically on my 2012 the only thing original is the front diff, steering rack, and front axles.

Edit: I am a little crazy....

Will part number 1502-487 rear diff work to replace 1502-822?

They look similar but not built the same. The 1000 cat diff has a SLD (clutch pack) so I would think the case is longer. The internal gear ratio is the same but using different ring and pinion part numbers. I don't believe the mounting points are the same either. I don't think it will work.
