Why would you think they're going out of business?
because there not keeping up or improving on anything .They were top seller and the number one snowmobile company. not keeping up with part for wildcat x like engines and engine parts even after market part are hard to find or they don't' make any thing for it anymore.
You think SxS are bad, try to get parts for an older Arctic Cat snowmobile! For years Arctic Cat prided (Is that a word....?) themselves on supplying parts for their older models to take care of their brand loyal customers. In my case, a few years ago there were two or three Cat dealers fairly close to me that kept a good inventory of parts for old Cats on hand to keep our old sleds going. When Textron took over, not only did they cut off the parts supply, they also cut out the dealers! I understand that Textron had to trim the fat to keep the company afloat, but turning their backs on guys like me that have been loyal to Arctic Cat since 1968 seems like a really bad marketing plan to me. I currently have 9 Cat snowmobiles ranging from 1971 to 1996, a 2014 Wildcat Trail and a 2015 550 XT four wheeler. I hate to say it, but when the time comes to trade up, I doubt that I'll waste my time driving the 100+ miles I have to travel now to get to my closest Arctic Cat dealer.

Seeing the Sport and the Trail being dumped had me wondering also.
I've been told that the '22 Wildcat XX is going to the be the last. I'm not sure how reliable the source is, but I won't be surprised if it's true. Too bad, the XX is a great machine and it can be improved on. I guess we'll know by the end of the year.

Textron put Homelite out of business, and almost put Polaris out if it wasn't for a few loyalists buying it away from Textron. They've wiped out other companies too, I just can't think of them off the top of my head. Hopefully some buyers can rescue Cat before they "Go Fishin'" again.

Reviving an old thread. I just posted on another thread that I heard a “Rumor” that 2022 could be the end of the XX too. I guess the legal suit with RMG ( Todd Romano & Robby Gordon) is in the settlement phase and could be resolved by the end of the year? And this could be why they are still building XX’s, and once that’s done they might drop the XX? Again this was something I just heard. But I also heard they were only building 2500 XX for 2022. And it’s August and I don’t know anyone that’s been able to get a LtD or SE trim. The only AC dealer left in San Diego said they can’t get cars, and have not been told if there would be a 2023 model. Again we are in August and they have no Idea and AC will not tell them anything.
pretty much a "RUMOR" dealer down the road just had 5 Ltds picked up by customers, saw a 23 revealed down in the Black Hills a couple weeks ago, But, that one Im thinking is a limted edition rig..Black Hills Edition..

Good to hear that some LTD or SE have been released. Do you know if there is plans for a 2023 model? When do they typically do the dealer model release party/announcement? In September on the West Coast we have a huge event called the Sand Sport Super Show. It’s huge and fills a fair ground. All the manufactures are listed to be there, but this year Arctic Cat is not listed. They are the only sport manufacture not listed to be showing their machines. The last few years they have had a presents, be it very small they were still there.
It's hard to say for sure how long a company like Cat will stay in business, but it's important to remember that businesses often evolve and adapt over time. While they may discontinue certain products or product lines, they may also introduce new ones to meet changing market demands. That being said, it's always a good idea to consider the long-term viability of a company before making a significant investment in their products. Consider looking into financial advisor succession planning.
