I check my coolant for trapped air before each trip. Those who do this regularly know the factory plug is a pain. I purchased a thumb-screw style air bleed valve and replaced the 1/8 NPT plug. The hose also keeps the coolant from dripping everywhere and making a mess. I put a quick video on YouTube to explain how it works. I know SpeedWerx makes an automatic bleeder and people have copied the concept. I just could not get past the fact I can't tell if there is air or not. Every hose connection is also one more place to leak.

nice idea, but why not take the trunk off for better access?
I don't take it out because I'm a paraplegic and cannot reach the wing nuts. I also have a pelican case with spares and tools in the trunk. I have good friends that don't mind helping but getting both hands to the bleeder is no fun even for an able bodied person. It would have made a much nicer video with the trunk removed also.:)
