Put 30" tires on my 14 4x, took it on the trail, maybe a little crazy with doing donuts and such, ran fine back to camp, the next ride was OK in the beginning then it started slipping, push the throttle and it doesn't want to go off and on,also hit some really deep water, replaced the belt, still nothing, I can have it in park and it will roll backwards with force and makes a huge clicking noise

Welcome Bigdaddy1967. We'll, first it's never a good idea to doughnuts, good way to roll over. Second, clicking usually indicates your CV joint at the trans is going, or is gone. Water possibly could have gotten into the trans case too? How's your rear drive shaft? They have been known to break.

Drive shaft appears to be good, haven't removed it to make sure. It will go forward like normal sometimes, could it be intermittent if the shaft was broke? Thanks for the help!

As I recall the driveshaft can be removed if it is broke without sliding the diff back, however to install the new one the diff need slid back. remove the boot and inspect it /one side has a spring under the stub shaft. You can squeeze the clamp with waterpump pliars to disengage it.

Appears to be good? Did you pull back the rubber boot to really check?

I have not yet! I put it in neutral and checked for any play, the shaft spins when the times it will move forward,I'll pull the boot tonight and check, thanks!

Automotive tire Asphalt Gas Auto part Metal

I can’t see a broken shaft being intermittent, broke is broke. I would lean towards the SLD. Hopefully that or possibly gear damage.
ugh!! Out of the rear diff!

Full rebuild? Any info on where to get parts is greatly appreciated!
Probably, contact Sand n Sea. He's the best I know for rear diffs. He's always glad to lend support and talk you through something. The issue here is parts are becoming more hard to find, if not impossible if you need the case.
