What is everyone using for off road GPS? Do they show the trail your on or do they just track you?

Used a Garmin for a long time, now a tablet with Avenza maps

I use a DeLorme PN-60 which show roads, and most trails and will track where I've been. It's older but still works fine.
I'm sure there are newer larger display systems (tablets) out there if needed.

Gaia GPS app with tablet. Needed a new gps with the new ride and this was the cheapest solution that works! Great app!

It shows all the details. Trails,lakes,roads everything. Its great ! Just download the map of the area you are going to in case there is no cell coverage and it works fine. I was skeptical but we were in the middle of ko where with no cell coverage and I was just as exact tracking and placement as my buddies Garmin.

I use the Garmin Montana 600 series and I've been really happy with it. I have to be able to load .gpx files of tracks & waypoints on my GPS. Not sure if Gaia and Avenza can do that.

Haven't used it yet for riding but OnX off-road on my cellphone with a RAM mount.
