Can someone tell me if these are a good deal and if they are good machines? How much hp? I don’t know anything about these machines because I’ve owned a Yamaha rhino and Polaris Ranger for many, many years. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

...the 018 wildcat is the best you can buy- it was the last evolution model x- best motor (us made) - starter upgrade- wheelbearing upgrade etc ! !

...u can buy evry model down to 12- you just gotta expect more repairs ;-)

Welcome Azmuzicman. I agree with izom, stay away from the 12, try for the 18. 12K is the too much, offer $10K, see what happens.

I have the 2018 model. I bought it for my wife and daughter so we can stay together during family rides. My only complaint is that the aftermarket parts and accessories aren't as plentiful as other models. With that being said, does anyone know of a good spare tire carrier? 🤙

I have an 18 X LTD and it’s been reliable and fun to do DIY upgrades like harnesses, etc. As others have noted, the 2018 design is the last of the X/1000 series and they addressed most issues (including a more robust roll cage).

It’s a great machine but a key buying decision is whether or not there is an Arctic Cat dealer within a reasonable distance from you.
