In the Feb 2012 issue of Dirt Wheels magazine, they featured a full length write-up on the W/C.
One complaint they had was that they had shock fade on the left rear because of it's proximity to the exhaust.
They suggested that artic-cat should add a heat shield to the area to help prevent shock-fade.
It does get warm in that area even in cold weather ride btw.
I could cut down a car air-conditioner condensor insulator and clamp it around the reservoir.

Or perhaps you can design some kind of billet shield that can be bolted on at the top of the shock?

BTW ordered a harness bar!!

It does sound like a heat shield would help.

you may just want to exhaust wrap it... that would work and probably would look better than sheet metal hanging....
