I might not be asking the correct question.

My 2019 XX sometimes has the engine dash light come on. Scrolling through the diagnostic menu, I do not see how to pull the DTC and nothing looks out of the ordinary on any diagnostic screen. How do I see the codes?

I pulled out my ODB2 reader and the connection is a CAN connection (different shape connector) so I did not try to connect it.

When a trouble code comes up, it should read out the code number in the right hand display near the bottom.

Thanks, but I'm certain it was not there. I cycled through all screens and never say any codes. But I'll be back with my machine in a couple weeks and check again. Would any brand of CAN reader do the job of reading all codes? The OEM Arctic Cat diagnostic tool is way expensive.

I am not sure. Mine, when I had a misfire code and went into limp mode would flash the P code in the right display.
