I was changing my oil and I started it to cycle the fluid and check the level. Then it dawned on my that somebody in some forum said that horrible to do?
If it is bad to start and run it for only 5 minutes, why is it bad?
Also, what is one supposed to do when trailering the machine from home?
If you do have to run it after any start, how long do you have to run or drive it?
Thanks

just do what you are doing but when I store mine for the winter I go out and start it maybe once a month but i run it up to about 2000 to 2500 rpm and run it until it cycles the fan 2 or3 times so it warmed up good because I can't take it out and drive it unless I load it up and take it someplace. to run it after you changed oil its fine or take it off trailer or what ever.
