Hello all, I'm a 6 time RZR owner from northern Wisconsin and this is my first Artic cat product I've ever owned.
My new XX has 5.5 hrs on it and it's been at the dealership for 2 weeks now waiting for a new water pump and seal to be installed. Not a great start for the XX but I'm still happy with my purchase 🤞

Welcome to the group. Water pumps are one of the few weak areas on the XX. Replacing the stock one with a Speed pump kit is money well spent along with a Speedwerx bleeder kit. Then you never need to worry about it ever again (within reason). Enjoy your new rig. I love mine.

Thanks for thre heads up, most of the sources I talk to say the factory water pump is fine and the main culprit is the lack of proper bleeding of air from the system, causing a rush of water to slam the plastic water pump at 9000 rpm shearing the pin on the shaft. Are you saying the factory gaskets are junk? Isn't that what's in the " SPEED kit " ?
I bought the billet impeller and bleeder kit...

I have heard the same thing. In my neck of the woods I am regularly 100 miles from anyplace that can be of help if I break down. The Speed H2O pump is a nice bit of kit that just gives me peace of mind. At a minimum, the bleed kit I would consider necessary.
