New Cat X in Indiana

I recently jumped ship from Can Am last week and bought an X. Im liking the way the big gun slip on sounds but does it need a tuner? The Mls kit for sharp steer.....what kind of gains does it actually give? Anyone think these bikes will push snow with the stock steering or am I wasting my time mounting my plow on it? Any help is appreciated
