Picking up my Wildcat 1000 Limited on Friday. I am so jacked! I should have had one last year, as the groomers never hit the trails in most places last year. I could have been putting on miles with this thing.

I'm in Dilworth if there are any local members.

Welcome biff.org, congrats on the Cat! Look into harnesses and a harness bar as soon as possible.

I will do that, it looks like a common farkle for the Wildcat. I would think a person would feel so much more secure as well.

After I get over the initial shock of the purchase, I have a short list of add-ons

1. Harness bar and harnesses
2. Proper storage in the rear for camera bags and Drone
3. GoPro mounts everywhere!
4. Winch and proper mounting plate (I have to research that with the limited bumpers)
5 Ryko Turn signals/horn kit
6. Mirror/s
7. Get to know my new cat dealer here in Fargo. Dakota Cat just moved into West Fargo from Valley City.
8. Possibly the passenger Oh-Shit bar/T-handle mod
9. Get my daughter through the safety certification course. (she has MN Boating and Snowmobling, so she knows her powersports)

Thanks for the welcome guys. I hope to have an updated Avatar and Signature file soon with Wildcat photos. And a link to my YouTube channel: www.biff.org

Let me clarify, I am an avid snowmobiler and it is #1 priority once we get snow. I was reading MN regulations on running the State trails and club trails during sled season is forbidden. But as long as they have not started grooming, I do see they are fair game other than private land. So in many places around us last year, a groomer never made a showing.

That may be a trend with the poor snow winters we have had recently. I was limited to 1200 miles last season with only 900 being in MN. This tweener season from April to June and September to December was killing me. It will be nice to have a throttle to push during those times.

Again, thanks for the welcome!

How old is your daughter? My little girl is close to 5 and my boy is close to 3. I plan on riding with them a bunch in MN this summer. Let's get together have some fun!
I put their car seats in with helmets and goggles. Works well.
We have a place in Hackensack by the Paul Bunyan State Forest and Spider Lake trails.

Pork Chop, we run that region quite often on sleds. Everywhere from White Earth to Two Inlets, Dorset, on over to Nevis and Walker. I love that area as I grew up in Wadena.

My stepdaughter is 14 and is actually one of the youngest drivers at her school. She has found a loophole and has gotten her ND driving permit as her father lives in Fargo. So she will be a licensed driver at 15 in June. She has read the MN laws very closely and realizes that out of state drivers just need to have their license and passed the ATV safety course. So she is on a mission to be certified for this beast soon too!

She ha been so busy with activities and travel, she has yet to drive it. She is jacked or sled season and has just been teased with photos and videos on my YouTube channel of me taking the neighbor boys out riding. www.biff.org
