No power to dash

I recently purchased a 2018 Wildcat XX RG that had been lightly rolled on its side once and no real damage. Got it for ridiculously low amount with only 1100 miles on it. Anyway, I got it and got it going and it overheated, changed the water pump and thermostat and put the speedworx self bleeder kit in it. Got it started again with no overheating issue. I went to start it, and the dash wouldn't turn on. I cycled the key a few times and got it to turn on finally and started, but then it started getting worse until now it wont come on at all. I have replaced the ignition in hopes this would fix it (and because I only had 1 key for it anyway) but no luck. I have chased every wired coming from the dash and there are no bare spots or anything and all ground are good. Everything else on the car seems to work. I have 12V at the plug going to the dash. My thought is the dash has gone bad. Before I order another and replace it does anyone have any other suggestions or possibilities? Someone states that on these the dash and ECU are programmed together, can anyone confirm this, or can I order a dash off eBay and install it?

TIA for any help, this is my first SXS and am ready to go enjoy it.

Welcome dynomike787. As strange as this seems, I’ve seen going bad batteries do some strange things with regards to electrical, dashes, etc.

Don’t order an instrument cluster from eBay…it won’t work. Like you said the ECU and instrument cluster are programmed together. Unfortunately you will have to order one from a dealer and have them program out to your ECU
