My sons 2018 trail,
He did break 3 axles last time out, but was able to drive it to the trailer and load. At that time he realized the reverse not working. After replacing all the axles, still no reverse. He didn't hear anything to make him think that the reverse was broken.
After reading here about reverse chains, shift cable and shifter detent we have come to the conclusion the next operation is to remove the transaxle for inspection.

Looks like a tight and complicated job.
We both have worked in the garage for years and have "basic" knowledge of mechanical jobs.

Can anyone help with some basic instruction for the removal.

Thank you in advance, Neil

Country cat website has the service manual in it. The instructions for most repairs are in there according to arctic cat. It is a free download. Nice because it has all the torque values in it to. Found it to be very useful.
