Replaced battery, starter solenoid, and still no start. Can only hear click noise on solenoid.
SxS was sitting for about 1 month. Would start after jump start. After a cold front came here in Dallas. I tried to turn it on. Weak battery. So jump started and still nothing. Did not check jumper and it was low on battery. I tried to crank it couple of time til i realize jump booster was almost dead. After trying charing booster and attempt to start, all you heard was clicking on solenoid and got hot.
I ordered new solenoid and battery. And still no crank. Same clicking noise on solenoid. Could it be the starter gave out or stuck? Or ignition switch

if you haven't changed the starter you should check it mine did that on the trail the starter locked up on top of the gears I know this because I pulled the cover off just lucky is didn't brake the gear boss.

I know your post has been out for a while but you can do this to troubleshoot. Go old fashioned and give your starter some love taps with a screwdriver, hammer, etc. Those were my symptoms, same as yours. The bendix, brushes, etc, Old. You can then replace the starter if that helps.
