Hey there, I recently purchased a 2014 artic cat wildcat 1000x. The first two time I took it out I lost the belt and it chewed them to pieces. The third time the primary clutch exploded blowing a huge hole in the case. What’re possible causes for this? Is there an upgraded clutch I can install and eliminate the problem in the future?

Well that sucks. I think you answered your own question.. when it chewed the belt to pieces it was slipping and causing excessive heat. That probably weakened/damaged your clutch. You most likely had some issues.
Maybe alignment, clutch engagement, air flow (A blown belt can completely clog the air flow with belt pieces), dirty/stuck clutch ..

Maybe crank end play?

I have a detailed post on clutch issues...also you can add air flow to keep temps down or run no clutch cover if you keep it your car dry.
