The most recent 2020 lineup released for AC does not contain the Trail Sport or X, the only two sport machines they have listed are the Havoc and the XX.

I was told the same thing 2 weeks ago from a Dealer that there was not going to be any Trails, Sports or "X" being built any longer

That 2020 lineup being posted everywhere today is ONLY FOR CARRYOVER models, not including anything new to be released in June. Looks more to me like they're burning up old stock before releasing the new Sport/Trail that have been rumored with the Weber engine.

It does look like they dropped the "X" from the Havoc.

Xx is basically their only "sport" machine. 64" or nothing. Looks like a lot of folks will be switching brands. Good luck textron I mean Arctic cat no no I mean textron. Lots of people are loosing faith in them.

The only Arctic Cat SxS that I see any quantity of in my area are the Trails and Sports. In my opinion, they're a lot of machine for the price. Big machines like the XX just aren't practical where I live, and my area is so depressed that people can't afford the $20,000 price tag on a XX.

I had hopes that Textron would be a boost to Arctic Cat and make them competitive with Bombardier/Can-Am and Polaris, but I'm beginning to believe their intent was to finish the company off and eliminate them completely. The snowmobile line is as messed up as the ATV/UTV line. I've been 100% loyal to Arctic Cat since 1969. I've raced Arctic Cat snowmobiles since 1982, and still have a few in the garage that I race from time to time. If there's anyone on this earth that truly bleeds green, it's me. I still keep hoping for the best, but it's getting harder every day....

It is really sad. I wish textron would go all in but if that is the plan you would think we would have heard something by now.
If they are not all in then lets stick a fork in it and be done with it. This year's long slow death is awful.

I was thinking of picking up a sport but the dealer network and service options were bad enough while they were still making them. Forget it now...

Maybe some of the old guard at Arctic Cat will pool their resources and buy the company back from Textron, like they did in the '80's when Cat went bankrupt? Not likely, but we can hope....

Over on one of the snowmobile sites they were talking about how Textron had a press release saying that they haven't done very well at communicating with the public about their intentions, and that they're in this for the long haul. I read the press release and it looked like mostly smoke and mirrors to me. On top of that, there are some dealers in my area that had their Cat dealerships taken away from them. There was no warning, a Cat rep just showed up and told them they are no longer a dealer. A well known dealer in my area has had an Arctic Cat dealership since about 1970 and has a great reputation, but none of that mattered.

The only other thing I can think of is that Textron is going for a high-end niche market, and make mega-bucks per unit with a low production volume. Either way, it sucks the way their blowing off "Joe Average" - the guy that doesn't have a six-figure income and can't afford the mega-buck price tags.

I got one of the first three or four 2014 Trails delivered to customers and I enjoyed it but I sold it two years ago when I moved. I guess I'll have to look at something else now that I'm ready again.

The smaller machines are coming back guys. From my understanding there will not be substantial changes... yet.

There is 3 model trails back for 2020 1/2. 1-xt model and 2-limited from what I’m hearing from my rep. So that’s a good thing.

xt- medium green
ltd- team arctic green
ltd- char met/ orange met
