I know this is probably a noob question but I've always wondered why the rear shocks are mounted upside down on a trail? Would it cause issues if they were installed in the same orientation as the front? Just curious.

Not sure if it does matter I mistakenly put mine back on the same as the front and it did not make a difference, ran them for about 3500 miles that way till I changed them out for Bandits.

My guess is adjusting it is easier with the lock rings at the top rather than at the bottom. That would imply that some engineer actually thought about the maintenance aspect though and we know that can't be true I guess I don't know.
