How are you guys replacing ball joints. I've been trying to hit this damn thing out and it's not budging

Did you clean it off so you can see and remove the snap ring

Mine fell out on limo cat. Penetrating oil overnight should help a lot

Has anyone found a good aftermarket balljoint that has a grease zerk (fitting) yet???
I'm still using a grease needle on mine but would like to change the joints out while I pull the whole suspension off this thing for maintenance..

No no no no no no no aftermarket! They are all made by same place. I broke 2 in one weekend and was lucky I didn't break a lot of other stuff

Im still running on the aftermarket ones but im not near as heavy as a 4seater. The fact they are sold under a bazillion different p/n and brand names does lead me to question their quality though.

I'm not surprised they are lasting longer in a lighter unit but the way they just snap is really bad.I got crazy lucky that I was barely moving both times and felt it give so I jammed the brakes. If the wheel would have rotated a little more it would have broken other parts and I can't imagine if I was going fast where I would end up especially on a hard turn. I would think you are just on borrowed time. Not a risk I would personally take

No sand. Only run in low gear. I was barely moving or doing anything when they broke thankfully, that's why I didn't tear up a bunch more, being able to stop as soon as I felt something weird. The wheel didn't even make 3/4 rotation when I broke, that's how slow I was going both times. If it made 1 full rotation all hell would have broken
