I have a 2013 wildcat x. I am hitting rev limiter at 45mph @ around 7500rpm in high gear and 20mph in low. I have teied putting a new belt on and its still doing the same thing. I have seen a few posts about the same thing happening to a few others but have not seen any posts with a fix. It is the team responsive clutch system. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you are sure that you are using the correct belt, then I would be looking at the sheaves. Unloaded, they should glide without friction over the center shaft(s). If you run without a cover (as I do), dirt can mar the shaft/sheave and cause a sheave to bind (as happened to me). If a sheave is binding, gently resurface the shaft and/or sheave (inside circle where shaft goes) with fine grit sandpaper.
If that isn't the issue I would look at the clutch springs

It is the correct belt. I just biught it a cpl weeks ago and did not have a place to test frive it to that kind of speed. When I got out after I got home is when I hit the rev limiter. Ther is no smell of rubber like its slipping. So maybe sumthing is binding the primary.
