I removed my seats the other day & they're twice as heavy as they usually are. I'm sure this is due them being underwater last time I went riding. Has anyone taken apart their seats to dry out the cushions? How difficult is it to disassemble/reassemble?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure you can't. The material is stapled in. If you do get your seats soaked, IMO, soon as you're done riding, take your seats out, and let them dry in the sun. You might get a bigger problem than heavy seats, MOLD. You don't want that.

They do come apart. I had my cover of to put heated seat element in. It is kind of a pain though

Took everything apart this weekend & got everything cleaned up. I'll let the cushions bake in the sun for a few days & see if it makes a difference.
