I gave up chasing vibration. Have 10 miles of foam tape used so far and it still manages to find new places to vibrate.
open up the hole in the heat shield around the O2 bung, sneaky vibration comes from there. I also get an occassional vibration from the springs holding my exhaust on. When i switched exhaust the mounting bracket on the back would vibrate against the heat shield on the bottom of the cargo bed, quick tap with hammer and screwdriver gave me the necessary clearance to fix that.Been chasing a rattle I thought was a heat shield, but I think it's my spark arrestor rattling inside the muffler. I might have to make some sort of shim or something.

You have any close up pics of that kolpin roof? I like the look of that one.
If anyone else is getting a annoying noise around 3600-3650 RPM even in neutral, almost sounding like a rattly heat shield, I think I might have found another source. Open the access cover to check the oil and with the trail in Neutral, slowly increase the RPMs till the noise can be heard and then reach down and touch the drive shaft and see if the noise goes away. I have found the rear part of the front drive shaft between the trans axle and the center bearing likes to move (vibrate) front to back about 1/8 inch or so. Mine is pretty loud, but easier on the brain knowing where t
