Welcome kent. Anything COULD break. Start by slowing updrading the weak spots. Pace Offroad makes a 12mm stud kit, atlot of us have it. Much better than the stock 10mm studs that have been known to break. Buy a spare belt, many different choices, a lot of us, me included use the stock AC belt. Most expensive, but give MLS a call, probably cheaper there than anywhere. Make sure you do heat cycles on it, do a search, pretty easy to do. You can upgrade the clutch, depends on how much money, same with seats, cages, wheels, anything. Running joke on here, but I tell every new member to look into getting harnesses, and a harness bar. I rarely joke about safety. Any questions, ask away.

ok thanks, week spots i think that is what i am looking for and what is SLD sorry but how do i call MLS.
SLD = Spike Load Dampner. Kind of a fail safe AC built into the Cats. Muzzy, and maybe some others make an SLD delete kit, or you could do it yourself. Lots of threads on this too.

Top of the green header there are tabs. Click on the forum tab, and it will show you all the forum sub sections, including all the supporting vendors. MLS, and Awesome Offroad ( same vendor sort of) will have their numbers in their sections.

Kent, SXS's aren't quite like boat( bring on another thousand) but not far off! I would think that the first thing to break would be the bank! After that it gets easy!

Here's whats went on my 2012 (same as your early 13)

3 wheel bearings (which took out 3 rotors and 3 sets of brake pads)
2 front a-arms (bent, common issue)
3 belts (possible oil seal leak in clutch housing area causing the issue)
3 CV boots (2 from wheel bearing failure, 1 from stick)
1 set of wheel studs (upgraded to 12mm)
1 axle (broke outer stub off)
Leaky rear differential (disassembled, new bearings, new seals, resealed)

Here is what I've done to help issues:
Added clutch blower. Rule 240CFM inline blower.
Bought unbent a-arms and reinforced them with steel plate and c channel
Installed belt temp gauge. Fairly useless in my opinion. When all 3 belts blew the temp wasnt high.
Reinforced front upper a-arm tabs with thick hardened washers. The tabs are known to ovalize. The washers should prevent that.

Curious, what were the temps when the belts blew?

Hey thanks you guys, still trying to figure out how to do everything, have no idea what i am doing.
Everybody kind of learns on the fly. Baptism under fire. Best thing is to read up. Do a search on something, say belts, and you'll get a lot of threads. Guys blowing belts, guys complaining about belt manufacturers prices, etc. You'll get a feel for what's going on. If not just start a thread and ask questions.

Dang! U beat me to it by only a few hours. I must be faster!!! However, I would add that the first thing to break is the wife's bank account.
