idle and then die sounds like a fuel issue. Water in fuel? bad Fuel, Fuel pressure? EMPTY the fuel tank and refill with new fuel and try that 1st. Then check pressure. The fuel pump is in the fuel tank an has a screen on it if you need to check that.
