2015 wildcat trail. Grinding noise when in a drive gear. I dropped skid plate and found metal shavings on top of plate on driver rear. Boot is intact and the belt is fine. Where do I look now??

Take belt off and turn driven clutch by hand to locate noise, inspect drive clutch , axles. Jackup and run to find where noise is coming from. Just some ideas.

So IF I wanted to fix it I'm looking at $1000 + ?? Honestly is it even worth it?
Hole in the bottom, not good.

Welcome Fudare. Probably going to cost more than $1K, as to being worth it? That’s up to you.
