My wildcat x has a code of PO339, motor sounds like it is out of time when cranking. Sounds like it is kicking back,when it cranks it sounds good and runs good.Also sounds like the starter and ringer is bad. Could this be a timing sensor issue and is this repairable by replacing an external part or is the sensor inside and will have to go to a dealer

This is from our service manager..... "that code pops up for a variety of things, it is supposed to be related to a crankshaft issue but usually is caused by some mundane thing" Here is the suggested fix: Turn on key without starting, turn off, turn on and start, turn off, turn on without starting, turn off, turn on, turn off. Then try starting it and see if the code goes away. If not call Neil at our shop 623-932-0600 he will walk you through it. We are open 9 - 6 Mountain Time.

I fixed this by unplugging it cleaning it good and packing it with dielectric grease, then did the reset and its been good so far, good luck.

Unplug and clean the connectors that are near were the shift cable attaches to the trans. While you are at it apply dielectric grease to them all.
