deleteI am no stranger to racing I spent the better part of 12 years pitting for my son-in-law who raced stock cars,IMCA modified,s and then 360 limited sprint cars all of which I help build but this is the point about what they’re spending on these so-called factory racing UTV desert cars. Nobody who is bragging about the brand of UTV that they are riding around in for pleasure can brag about their car manufacturer winning these big races because those cars are nothing but name recognition because there’s nothing factory about them except maybe the motor.
Makes sense. They said they would only support the premier turbo class. Can Am has no real n/a sport model. They stopped making the n/a X3.
Tube chassis 4130 with a LOT of one off parts.is that seriously the kind of money they are spending on these machines to make them desert racers?
Saw that.Wow no wonder Can Am is winning all the races I just saw a full blown race X3 car for sale on google $112,000 that’s insane
Not enough experienced racers racing.Still waiting for a Wildcat XX to consistently finish desert races. RG and his speed cats have been plagued with problems. There is not reason the Wildcat XX is not up in the top 5 consistently in the non-turbo class.

Personally, I raced mostly bikes...care to test me?3300 miles no axle or cv failures, hell, I will race you in limp mode
Mine has no bugs...Like we have all agreed, great car yet to be proven. Still has alot of bugs to be worked out. Without the aftermarket it only make that worse. At 17,999 through bass pro it is definetly better value. But it is definetly having selling problems. To many confusing to the public changovers

Since you are too lazy to look it up...We understand the n/a vs turbo talking points. Lol. You'll try anything to derail the topic of the XX.... where did the dominate suspension of the wildcat XX finish?? Not the rzr as they aren't what you are boasting to be so superior?

Not sure yet. I hope RG does a shorter axle for his new dual plunge. The updated Textron axles/boots looks much better. I am probably going to buy 2 and use my old ones for spares. Everyone breaks axles and CV's at some point. Can ams may have axle/cv's in race trim. 25" travel has negative affects on cv's. Lol. Wildcats have had axle issue off the showroom floor at 18" of travel and no racing. Keep in mind that you can buy various axle brands for the x3. How many can you for the wildcat?

When did I say, "I know it all"?. Doesn't make any sense to come on here assuming you know it all. That is all I am saying.
HP is secondary in my world too. Suspension is everything...on the bikes too. When I did shocks on my XP1000 it was a night and day difference. When I got my X3 I knew I would do shock work before adding any go fast parts.
You are correct...I do not know "what" caused the failure. You don't know what caused that failure, you don't even know if that same thing would have happened with 4wd.
Justin Smith smoked the entire rt rear- hub and all after about 250 miles in 2wd.Ok so I am 100lbs down then, big deal. while I do understand I am not racing, I find it VERY hard to believe the cvs would not make it.
I know...basically what I said when I did the Polaris. When you get your shocks done, you will be wondering why you did not do it sooner.
deleteMine weighs 1900lbs without me in it and with only half a tank of fuel, so about 2100lbs with me in it and a full tank. I know because I weighed it on a certified scale. I understand racing is on another level, but ive done longer than a 3 mile wash driving hard, not at these power levels, but hard driving enough to where it was either wide open throttle or full on 100% brakes, nothing inbetween. I have bent a few front axles but never a problem with the rear.
You don't pay tax either. We do here...I pay a minimal amount for Kali- 7.25%Total loss. I am in oregon, those are out the door prices. The 15k wildcat xx on Instagram was new. Like I said great car lots to offer. Yet no more to offer than other manufacturers at a better cost. I've passed up xp1000s for 13.9k brand new here too

deleteHmmm, I have 200hp to the wheels, quite a bit more at the crank, yet I ONLY drive in 2wd when in the desert. Weird. Stock axles, 3300 miles on the machine. Something isn't adding up with that story.
